Brittaney Sard, founder of Petals for Hope, has always had a heart for helping others. After working with several companies in the corporate world, she decided to leave her position in the beginning of 2018. Marketing and communications consultant by trade, she began working independently for herself while seeking a position with a company that would fulfill her in more ways then just financially-she wanted to have a direct impact on the lives of those living around her. After going through a series of ideas and endless encouragement from her son, Petals for Hope was founded.
To her surprise, the same day that this company was created we received our first donation. Astonished by the 1000s of flowers she picked up that same evening, she was baffled as to how all of these blooms would just be thrown away after the event. After hand delivering these bouquets to those in need and seeing the joy brought to those people, she knew she was on to something bigger then just re-purposing leftover event flowers.
Our companies mission is to not only bring joy to those in need, but to reduce environmental waste.

Additionally, we use these same flowers to host ‘mini flower arranging workshops’ and other events for at risk youth, residents in hospitals, shelters, hospice care centers, crisis centers and more. We strive everyday to remind people that regardless of your situation, you still matter and that your circumstance or what has happened to you does not define you.
