Close the gap and let your flowers do good

Why let beautiful flowers end up in the trash?

Our non-profit organization rеpurposes dоnаtеd flоwеrѕ frоm wеddіngѕ, еvеntѕ, flоrіѕtѕ, and rеtаіlеrѕ. We restyle these donated flowers іntо bedside bоuԛuеtѕ and аrrаngеmеntѕ whісh аrе thеn dеlіvеrеd tо thоѕе іn nееd within thе соmmunіtу. Our drop-off locations include infusion centers, nursing homes, cancer treatment facilities, homeless shelters, schools, and more. These twice-loved blooms help to improve the emotional health of people who are in less than desirable situations, reminding them that regardless of their past or current circumstances they do still matter.

These donated arrangements are also used to host ‘floral arranging workshops’ in children’s hospitals, nursing homes, for at-risk children, shelters, and various other places.

Weddings and events don’t have to be wasteful. By adding one additional step you can help your flowers go full circle…coming from the earth and adding nutrients back into the soil at the end of their life. We compost all blooms that are unfit for use and return to pick up blooms from our dropoff locations to compost at the end of their second life as well.

By adding our service, you can close the gap and let your flowers do good.  We currently offer services in all U.S States.

Small changes lead to impactful, long-lasting change.

SUPPORT OUR MISSION

It is estimated that weddings and events produce anywhere from 400-600 pounds of waste. We aim to divert some of this from the landfill and use it to share kindness throughout our communities. Our mission is a win-win for everyone:

  • Tax write off for financial contributions, as well as floral donations
  • Helps to make your company more sustainable and eco-responsible
  • Our favorite… spreading joy

Recycle your event and wedding flowers, share your love

We aim to create a streamlined process for the couples and event industry professionals we work with. Our service and impact not only benefits our community by spreading joy to those in need with donated flowers, but also positively impacts our environment. We have made a commitment to being socially responsible-all blooms that are unfit for reuse are composted returning nutrients to the soil as opposed to a landfill.

We strive to make a positive impact on individuals in less than desirable circumstances while sustainably supporting the environment by reducing waste. Since our conception in 2018, we have successfully repurposed and composted thousands of blooms.

How we work: Simple, sustainable and kind

Removal + Redesign

Immediately after your wedding or event ends, a team of our trusted team members will remove all arrangements and greenery that would otherwise be thrown away from your event. The florals are taken back to our studio and immediately broken down, recut, and rearranged into 'bedside bouquets'.

Redesign + Deliver

On your behalf, they are delivered to a charity or location of your choice, or to one of our vetted locations. These can include hospice, hospitals, shut-ins, infusion centers, mental health facilities, homeless shelters, and more. We also use donated flowers to host 'therapeutic flower arranging workshops' at hospice care, nursing homes, hospitals and more. The children and adults not only gain a sense of belonging and peace, but also have so much fun during these workshops getting their mind off of their current circumstance.

Recycle

All of the flowers which are unfit for use and leftover greenery are composted. We also provide each delivery location with mini compost bags to put the repurposed flowers in when they are no longer fit for use and returning when possible to pick these up to compost.
